Found out today that myself and P1/2 colleague Kathy Conway are going to be demonstrating how to use the Promethean Interactive Whiteboards at the LTS stage at SETT in Glasgow this September. We aim to show some of our materials covering, maths, language and other areas of the curriculum. We also plan on using the ActiVotes. Children from our school will be coming along to talk about their own experiences with the boards and software and will be demonstrating their skills too! So if you are at the SCCC on the 20th (1.15pm) or 21st (2.15pm) of September pop along and see us.

I’ll be at SETT although they’ve got me doing a lot of stuff - time to see seminars is running low. I hope we might see you at TeachMeet06, though, in the Crowne Plaza at 4-6pm on the 20th. Free wine is on the cards along with some new technology quick presentations (7 mins max) and lots of nice people.
See you there?

John, Good to see that you have started a blog too. I heard you were going to be doing a demo at SETT and I have heard about the creative way you have been using the technology with your class. I was hoping you might do some training for us. Contact me.
